Did you open up the worn equipment window and change the size so you can see your character stand there with the pickaxe or hatchet?
This is how that window should look:

I also have to turn my character in that window to the left so that it registers when I have my item sheathed/unsheathed.

I have no idea if you are already working on this, if there is a solution for this or I simply don't know how to use the xp counter.
This is just a thought to why it isn't working if it is actually broken. The Xp counter could going off the old xp counter,
which was removed a short time after runemetrics was released.

Either I have no clue how to work with the xp counter, or there is an issue.

The xpcounter options is currently broken, I'm working on a fix.
You might be able to get it to work if you have 2 runemetrics counters with the same amount of digits in it.

For the sign of the porter in the default settings where it says "Your Active Sign of the porter" 'sign' should not be capitalized. After changing it to Your "Active sign of the porter" it worked fine. Great apps.

Thanks, i'll check it out. It might be a typo/inconsistency between different levels of the porter as i'm quite sure it was working when i was testing it.
I'll probably make it case insensitive to prevent other problems like this.

Hello,
I have found some error (i think) in the afk warden coding and i'm running the latest update.
I'm missing some of the presets in my afk warden in comparrison with the on on p1 of this forum page.
In the console on -> Sources -> apps/alt1/afkscape -> presets.js

In the last presets there are 2 presets who have the same name. see below
//=========================== xpdrops ==============================
presets.xpdrops = {

//=========================== combat ==============================
presets.xpdrops = {

//=========================== castle wars ==============================
presets.castlewars = {

//=========================== artisans workshop ==============================
presets.castlewars = {

I think this will solve something.

Whenever I try to make a custom alert it never works, also the only preset that I have tried that works is the progress bar which works perfectly, harps didn't work when I had them on, there is my antifire alert that is not working, i adjusted the interface to have 0% transparency as well but to no avail, any help would be appreciated

Good job on fixing the app, much appreciated!
One small suggestion though - would be great to temporarily disable individual alerts. Lets say I'm fishing, make the xpcounter alert, and then I go for a herb run - ding-dong every 5 seconds or so while running/harvesting. I do understand that you can remove xpcounter alert while on it, then add it again, but would be an awesome improvement if you could pause it with one extra button: (settings) (pause) (remove).

How do i actually get this to work? im trying to do firemaking with it. when i load the progressbar it just appears faded with a line through it.

When it's faded like that i means that it can't find the interface. Either the capture isn't working or part of the progress bar interface in-game is hidden behind something else.
You should check the capture tab in the alt1 settings and see if capture is working correctly.

so like, if i wanted a sound to go off when i stop firemaking..what would i do?

It looks like you could actually use a 'sheathe' alerter right now

You could also use a xpcounter alerter as the xp drops are very constant and often.

I thought there was a progress bar on firemaking like with cooking, did they remove that with a recent update?

For AfkWarden, if keystrokes could be tracked and made to restart the afk timer that'd be awesome at some point! Really nice program and very useful aside from that minor request.

I'm imagining you laid back watching a series, just close enough to the keyboard to hit the space bar right now. Sounds like a legit use for this app.

I'm not sure how hard this is and how antiviruses would respond to this feature. Mouse clicks are basically broadcasted to the whole system, however key presses are slightly protected as far as i know. I would probably have to include basically a keylogger for this and i'm not sure if i'd want to do that.

Yeah man, none of this stuff is working for me. The xp counter doesnt make a sound, the shelthe thing doesnt make a sound, none of them make sounds.
