Flash player on Alt1

The flash player is one of the few thing where the Alt1 browser differs from chrome. Chrome has a built-in version of flash, this means that you can use flash on chrome without actually having it installed on your computer. You have to install flash independent of chrome on your computer to use it in Alt1.

To install flash for Alt1:

  1. Go to "download other versions" page on the Adobe website (https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/)

  2. Select your operating system

  3. Select the PPAPI version (FP xx for Opera and Chromium - PPAPI)

  4. Make sure to not include their free special junkware offer (McAfee)

  5. Click download and finish the installation

  6. You might have to restart Alt1 for the plugin to be detected

All other browser plug-ins should work in Alt1 in the exact same way as they do in chrome (and other browsers). Alt1 has no support for browser extensions which is something different.
