Alt1 causes client crashes when game window is minimized

Whenever I turn on Alt 1 and minimize the game client my screen will freeze for a brief moment and then the game will close completely. When i tab out it works fine and the issue is only there when Alt 1 is activated.

I do not know what caused this problem as it has only been a few days since it started doing it. Would appreciate it if anyone could tell me  what the possible causes are.

Minimizing with Alt1 makes Alt1 redundant, since it can't read your screen when it's minimized.
