Youtube is missing?

I often used Alt1 to watch Youtube while playing not just Runescape, but anything, really. It was always useful to have a priority window on hand for playing videos! I was even using it yesterday just fine, no problems.

...Unnnntil today, where I turned my computer on and the feature was just... missing. It's not in the list of apps at all, nor is it marked as a missing default file in the installed apps list. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Alt1 entirely multiple times, but nothing's changed.

So where the hell did it go?

How odd that you've been able to use it yesterday, as it hasn't been possible for me since 2023's API changes. But if you want to add it again, install it. I'd love to see if you can get it to work

I do also want to hear about it working, considering all I get is "Youtube api error", considering the app doesn't have access to the YouTube API.

In that case, you don't actually need it. Each app loads a browser, so you can just use the browser as well.

It's indeed not necessary to use the app, and the browser does have the benefit of allowing searches. But I just tried it out side by side, and I can definitely see why someone would prefer to use the app. Watching full screen in the browser still allows for it to be scrollable, so you might accidentally scroll away from the video. The browser also can't be pinned to RS, making it more like a PIP which is available for most regular browsers these days. Without the app, PIP would still be a better option than using the Alt1 browser.
