Xp Meter keeps searching

I've checked every other thread, to no avail.

-Running Windows 10
-running Alt1 1.1.2
-No dpi scaling
-xp meter on a black background

I tried reloading, searching for xp positions, toggling pixel compatibility mode, the app has the necessary permissions... any clue what I'm missing?

EDIT: the stats lookup app doesn't work either (I can type player names, but alt-1 on a right click option doesn't do anything)

EDIT2: found the problem... it seems that Alt1 can't detect xp if the client is opened in a localized version (in my case, french). Sorry if this was already said somewhere.
