Scaling issue on Surface Pro

I play mainly on a Surface Pro 4, and although Alt+1 toolkit does install, the windows appear so small that a magnifying glass is necessary in order to operate it.

I've tried setting it to compatibility mode, but no matter what I do the window still does not scale whereas Runescape does.

Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Re: Scaling issue on Surface Pro

Make sure that compatibility mode is not on, Alt1 does a lot of DPI related stuff normal programs don't have to do and treating it as DPI-dumb makes it a lot worse.
The Alt1 menus should scale along with all other programs on your computer. The apps will scale to the level Alt1 thinks rs is at, it might have detected the scaling level of rs wrong. Make sure the override dpi checkbox is not checked.

Also, you have to restart your computer after changing DPI related settings in windows for it to fully take effect.

Re: Scaling issue on Surface Pro

Thanks for the reply.

Whenever I open Runescape, Alt+1 switches back to OpenGL capture. I assume this is because I'm using the NXT client.

Is there any way to make the changes to how Alt+1 scales consistent?
