Should not be that hard.

You can use this as a guide.

Re: Farming Timers

I was actually going to request this too. At least mainly for herbs and trees, fruit trees, calquats... There might be a few other specials people do, such as spirit tree, elder tree and crystal tree which aren't listed in any of the other trees.

Have had almost 99 farm twice now on RS so let me know if you need a farmer's opinion.

Otherwise... pls implement smile

EDIT:

The tip.it timer Mr posted above looks really nice but it's old and doesn't have the prifddinas patches! Notably the trahaearn tree patch and the meilyr fruit tree.

Re: Farming Timers

I checked the tip.it one and it seems very possible to add. I was wondering if it is possible to predict the time at which the grow ticks happen. Does a one hour tick always occur at the same minute, even after updates and server lag?

Unfortunately it is based on RuneScape's grow ticks :S Check this Farming growth guide out... I don't even fully understand the timing just yet...

Test version so far http://runeapps.org/apps/farmtimer/.
That runewiki farming guide has been very useful.

Broken on Firefox ;P Just looking at it now in chrome though looks stellar

edit: I'll also test it out shortly when I replace my trees

edit2: I noticed it's hard to tell whether anything has happened once you click start... Maybe you could throw somethin in there to make it more obvious? Or maybe it isn't even starting hah tongue Looks to work with herbs at least so far, so functionality is there, now to brush up the interface? smile

Re: Farming Timers

So as of now they work on firefox, but with herbs and fruit trees I have noticed the times must be off. Not sure what other factors are at play with herbs (I think if they get diseased they can take an extra stage?) but the fruit tree should be consistent no? In specific it was palm tree that was not finished even after your timer said it was done by over +1 stages.

Regular trees seemed to work well though. Other than that my only request would be add calquat trees wink

edit: I think magic trees don't work quite right either

Re: Farming Timers

Almost anything can get diseased including (fruit) trees. When a crop gets diseased it will stop growing, a farmer will instantly cure it if you paid for protection but it will still skip a growth tick every time it gets diseased. There are also some cases where a growth tick will be skipped if you log in/out around the tick.

Just added calquat
