Alt1 standalone releases

It is recommended to install Alt1 using the installer found on the alt1 page. The installer will automatically download the files and keep track of versions and updates.

This thread keeps record of the standalone releases of Alt1. You can use these in case you can't use the installer or to use an older version.

Alt1 standalone releases:

Follow these steps to run the standalone

  1. Download one of the versions using the link above

  2. Right-click the zip and choose 'Extract all'

  3. Now select the folder where you want to place the files, it is recommended to make a new folder.

  4. You can now run the file called 'Alt1 Toolkit' to start Alt1.

  5. You can create a shortcut by right-clicking 'Alt1 Toolkit' and selecting 'create shortcut'. You can move the shortcut to your desktop for easy access.

Re: Alt1 standalone releases

If your going to do any updates (like you released 1.0.1 recently I see) you need to put them on here as well for the portable way..

honestly it would just be better if you made the installer not one-click and included option to choose where to install it so you didn't have to worry about this crap not like you ever seem to remember anyways...

Re: Alt1 standalone releases

There are many things i need to fix, right now I'm glad the installer works (somewhat). Added 1.0.1 now.
