This update is now live, no need for this test anymore
Hello guys, nxt will be released tomorrow and during the beta weekends it appeared that Alt1 wasn't working for some people on nxt.
I've been working very hard the last week to make sure that Alt1 will work in time for the release. I have a test version ready that should work on 32 bit computers, i'm working on making it work for the 64bit nxt client as well right now. You can use this version to see if screen capture is working on the login page.
You can download the test version here.
http://runeapps.org/downloads/Alt1_Toolkit_NXT_1.zip
http://runeapps.org/downloads/Alt1_Toolkit_NXT_2.zip
A newer version is now live when install Alt1 normally.
Follow these steps to test if Alt1 will work tomorrow:
Download the test version above.
Right-click the zip and choose 'Extract all'
Now select the folder where you want to place the files, it is recommended to make a new folder.
You can now run the file called 'Alt1 Toolkit' to start Alt1.
Make sure the NXT client is open
Go to the 'capture' tab in the alt1 settings and check if 'DirectX capture' or 'OpenGL capture' works.
This update added OpenGL capture for the 32bit client, which is the reason for this test update.
Please post a reply here if you tested it.
Please state the version of window you use and whether it is 32 or 64 bit.
Also state which capture methods did or did not work for you.

I'll make sure to test this as soon as NXT is released
it didnt work on open gl or direct x but on desktop it works fine!
Thanks!
the scan range doesn't show up on the mini map, makes my computer really laggy (and i never lag) while its trying to add it, and when it fails computer is no longer laggy
Running windows 10 64-bit
No DirectX or OpenGL capture working for me yet, but you already know that w/ 64bit. Desktop capture can solve Celtic knot and slide puzzle just fine in the mean time.
Keep up the good work
Will test it tonight

DirectX and OpenGL both did not work, but Desktop is detecting NXT client. Running Win10 64-bit
64-bit Windows 10
DirectX capture does not work
OpenGL capture seems to only work if I choose it after Desktop capture
Also, this error message appears when I choose OpenGL capture:
Unable to load DLL 'Alt1Native.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
x64 Win 10
DirectX & OpenGL not working, but Desktop capture works.
4/18/16 @ 18:00 RS time
Win10 X64
DirectX/OpenGL don't work, but Desktop capture does, only if I disable UI scaling (which I don't want to have to do).
18/4/16 22:53 game time.
Same as others, Win 10 x64, DirectX & OpenGL not working, Desktop capture working.
Windows 8.1, x64
DirectX & OpenGL not working, desktop capture working.
Uploaded a newer version which works flawlessly on my computer. I will push this update later today if it doesn't fail for any of you guys.

Windows 10 pro 64bit
Tried version 2
It didn't work at first, but once I changed the capture to OpenGL it began to work. Playing on NXT, obviously.
Windows 10 x64
I Downloaded the new test update and followed the steps until i get to launching the toolkit. then it froze my windows explorer and after restarting the explorer windows wont let me delete the .exe since it is "open in system". I tired running as admin and it still did the same thing. NXT is open on login page, and i attempted to kill the exe but it doesn't show up as a running program in task manager.
That sounds really weird, it might have just been a coincident. The explorer hasn't crashed in the 100s of times it crashed while testing.
Some of the .dll's will be locked until you close runescape, however you should be able to delete the .exe after closing Alt1.
You should be able to delete it after restarting your computer.

Win10 x64, running NXT
The 2nd update, works perfectly with openGL
Going to bed now, the update will be tomorrow.

tested new version, Win10 64-bit, I can see the runescape screen in OpenGL but nothing works
- Edit - It works sometimes and other times it opens up article page when trying to examine people.

Use any rightclick open except the examine option. There is no way to know the difference between a player and an npc on the examine.

The NXT 2 is working on openGL and Desktop capture mode but I have a weird problem where if I try to switch between openGL capture or Desktop capture my Nxt client crashes with an error "The instruction at 0x (c0000005)". I also crash with the same error message if I close alt 1.
Did you also want information on each of the individual app's to see if they worked as normal? If so I would be glad to test them.
Xelent, thanks for testing. A newer version is now live when you update your normal installation of Alt1. I fixed the issue you are talking in the live release. Please tell me if it still happens after updating to 1.3.1

I am stilling having the issue in the new release, the test builds are working fine for me, if it helps it is the clue scroll portion that isn't working in live, I am on 1.3.1
I updated to 1.3.1 and no more crashes! The xp tracker is not actually showing the skills again which is awesome. The clue solver for scan clues is showing the white box on the mini map. I'm assuming that the mini map has to be all the way zoomed out for it to be accurate.
Shoot forgot to say that if I go to fullscreen none of the apps manage to stay on top anymore. I think this might be something from my side though since every time I try to switch to a browser or anything else my screen goes to black a bunch of times.
