Not able to download ALT1

Whenever i try to run the setup.exe found on the download page, i get this error:

Im getting a similiar problem (might be the same didnt compare the error messages) but it gets to about 25% and then says 'Cannot start application. Application download did not succeed. Check your network connection, or contact your system administrator or network server provider' Heres the more details:

So I re-installed Visual C++ Redistributable and it allowed the installer to get to 100% but then it did the same thing it was doing earlier at 25%. Here's the error report (not sure if its the same as one above):

It looks like your antivirus or firewall might have cut off the connection during the download.

So I tried installing via the link found here: http://runeapps.org/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=123

And it made it to 100% and then gave me a error window saying:

Could not load default skin, installation is incomplete.

There was no other information than that. And no 'Details' button like there has been with previous errors.

That is very weird. The pre version is working as expected. The only difference between the pre version that you were able to install and the live version that failed is the fact that I fixed the error you talked about.
The error with the skins happens after successfully installing the last test version of the kit.

There might be a problem in your click-once cache. You can clear it by running some command line code.

1. Uninstall all possible installations of alt1 (control panel>programs and features>uninstall a program)

2. Press the windows + R (The windows key on your keyboard). This will bring up the window shown below.

3. paste "rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache" and click on OK.

4. Install again from the website

Re: Not able to download ALT1

Still no luck I tried both the current version and pre-version, and both got the same error. Really not sure what it is. I've disabled my anti-virus and firewall on my pc. As well as gotten into router setting and disabled firewall there. Got this error message at around 37%:
