Fiddled with different captures, let it sit open, closed and re-added the alert.

I can't say for sure but it seems like you're hovering over the spacebar button, it only tries to find the interface with the spacebar image thing that's not hovered.

That's really weird. It's not crossed out so it did manage to find the spacebar button somewhere. If you reload the app without a dialog being open is the alert crossed out like the xp drops in your first screenshot?
