AFK Warden Alerts Grayed Out

It was working yesterday afternoon, today I logged in without making any changes and all the alerts in my AFK warden were grayed/scored out. I tried restarting afk warden, my client, my pc, and reloaded my alert preset several times and tried some of the presets included with afk warden with no success on anything that requires chat. Life points alert was not scored out so I'm thinking maybe it's struggling to read my chat today? but like I said nothing has changed since yesterday when it was working flawlessly. Any idea what is wrong or what I can try?

I have since discovered that I also cannot "Scan Text" in the settings for my alerts. I am running the java client on Windows 7 ultimate since I only have on board graphics on my crappy laptop.

You say it was working the other day and I can't fathom why. Everything looks fine so my only assumption is Java client is your issue as it's not supported anymore. If you look at this post https://runeapps.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=994 you'll see their uncompressed screenshot is majorly pixelated and it's my current assumption that's the problem. If I turn up any other possibilities i'll let you know.

Alright, up until yesterday evening I had been using afk warden and dg key fine for nearly a week.

The way i fixed it for me was to click the Toggle Icon in my chat box witbn warden open it would light up seren spirit soon as it found the chat box
