Alt 1 Error and crash- Overrun of a stack based buffer

Hi, I recently installed alt-1. I am getting an occasional crash of the entire RuneScape client.

The error message I am getting is as follows,

Error:
The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application. (c0000409).

Help! What does this mean and why am I getting this error? Has anyone else experienced this? Now I am worried because I don't want any malicious user to take my account.

If anyone can help or give me their opinion of this, I would be grateful. Thanks!
