ALT 1 Clue Solver, wrong location

Recently, I've found that the clue solver is unusable for me.

In most cases, it automatically pins my location to somewhere I'm not and I can't manually place the pin anymore.

Does anybody know how to turn off automatic location detection? I always used to manually place them, so it's weird that, that isn't an option anymore?
