Introducing Seren Spirits

Seren Spirits is a free Alt1 companion app and public RuneScape 3 archive that automatically tracks rewards received from Seren spirits.

The project creates a community-powered record of Seren spirit rewards, allowing players to contribute verified results while everyone explores global reward totals, item statistics, estimated values, and proof-backed submissions.

Alt1 Toolkit must already be installed and connected to your RuneScape client before using the tracker.

What the app does

While Seren Spirits is running, it watches the visible RuneScape Game chat for Seren spirit reward messages.

When a new reward is detected, the app:

Reads the reward message from the visible chatbox.
Identifies the item and quantity received.
Confirms the message contains a readable chat timestamp.
Captures a compact proof image containing the reward line.
Uploads the reward to the global archive.
Prevents the same reward from being recorded more than once.
Queues the submission for another attempt if the connection is temporarily unavailable.

Only recently detected reward messages are accepted. This helps prevent older chat messages from being submitted as new rewards.

The Seren Spirits website provides a public overview of rewards recorded by the community, including:

Total reward items recorded
Number of contributors
Number of unique rewards discovered
Global estimated value of all priced rewards
Total quantity recorded for each item
Estimated Grand Exchange value of individual drops
Searchable and paginated reward history
Individual item statistics
Contributor statistics
Viewable reward-line proof
Submission timestamps
Unique record identifiers
Sorting and filtering tools

Alt1 is not required to browse the website or explore the public archive.

Grand Exchange pricing

Tradeable reward values use cached RuneScape Grand Exchange prices supplied through Weird Gloop.

Prices are checked every 15 minutes. The website displays the exact time of the latest successful refresh using 24-hour RuneScape in-game time (GMT).

Untradeable rewards and items without a reliable market price are shown as Unpriced and are excluded from estimated value totals.

Displayed values are estimates based on the latest cached Grand Exchange price. They are not historical prices locked to the moment each reward was received.

Privacy

Seren Spirits only uploads the information required to record and verify a reward:

RuneScape username
Reward item
Reward quantity
Reward chat message
Chat timestamp
Compact reward-line proof image

The app does not request or collect:

RuneScape passwords
Jagex account credentials
Bank PINs
Private messages
Full chat history
Full-screen screenshots
Account login access

Your saved RuneScape username and local tracker settings remain stored within the Alt1 app on your computer.

Setup instructions

After installing Seren Spirits:

Open RuneScape through the client connected to Alt1.
Open Seren Spirits inside Alt1.
Enter and save your RuneScape username.
Allow the required Alt1 pixel permission.
Keep a visible and expanded Game chatbox on screen.
Keep RuneScape interface scaling at 100% for the most dependable detection.
Press Start tracking if tracking has not started automatically.

The app will display Tracking once it has located the RuneScape chatbox.

After changing your interface layout, moving the chatbox, or resizing the RuneScape window, press Re-find chat inside the app.

Every recorded reward helps create a clearer picture of what Seren spirits are giving players across RuneScape.
