What happens:
Either Alt-1 and my client(s) crash, or just Alt-1 itself.
So I've tried the following:
1) Reinstalling - sometimes this would just delete the app right after I run it. was a weird situation that I wasn't able to reproduce
2) Clearing old registry keys as well as the appdata in SquirrelTemp
3) Re-downloading with and without Avast! activated and repeating 1) and 2).
4) Running RS and Alt-1 as admin, repeating 1), 2), and 3)
5) I've tried running chkdsk as seen in this thread by user Duradel: https://runeapps.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=1198
6) Updated all my drivers and tried 1-4.
I have only had these issues since 1.5.6
System/specs:
Windows 10 Education edition
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K 3.50 GHz
16 GB RAM
1660 Ti 6GB graphics card
Here is my log in SquirrelTemp since the last attempt. I have since given up on trying to make alt1 work, but felt I should report what I can:

Your install looks successful. Avast is just absolute garbage. Once it detects something if will corrupt that location on your filesystem. Reinstalls will not work once avast detects something even after making an exception.
You first have to turn of auto-fix in avast, This setting just deletes files from your computer without telling you about it.
Then remove the detection in Avast.
Reboot you computer. (for some reason this is needed to fix avast file corruption)
Do whatever is needed to clean up the remnants of the gored alt1 installation
Reinstall Alt1
You will have to make an exception not once, not twice, but three times. (RuneApps.Alt1.exe, Cefsharp.BrowserSubProcess.exe, CaptureHelper64.exe)
Honestly i shouldn't have to deal with this shit, you should contact Avast instead.

Fair enough thanks for the reply. I think I'll just uninstall Avast. I don't really use it and it's been more annoying/causing false positives in the last few years. Not like I download RuneScapeCheats.exe and run that or whatever....
