Re: SusAlert - Croesus Attack Call-outs

Hello, thank you very much for this app! It is wonderful! I'm starting to learn the boss and he's been very helpful!

But I'm having a problem that I'm not sure if I'm the one who's doing something wrong... At a certain point in KC the plugin always starts to miss the team of the specs, and when it doesn't miss the team it misses the spec.. For example, the next one would be stun and he puts it as slime...

Would you be able to help me?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hey! Glad to hear SusAlert has been helpful to you!

If I'm understanding correctly do you mean the timer is not correct after you do  the mid slime (more than once)? If that is the case this is a limitation with what's possible with alt1. To fix this there's a yellow button that pops up around the mid slime phase, if you click that button exactly when the mid slime health reaches 0 the timer should sync up again.

Hope that helps, but if the issue is different or continues please let me know!

It seems SusAlert is unable to find the RS client, this can happen if the RS client is not on screen or open when you start SusAlert. Try opening runescape first, then opening Alt1/SusAlert.

seems when i took the client out of compatability mode, it started to work fine, but again thank you for your help!

Heya, sorry you're having issues with SusAlert sometimes resetting.

SusAlert uses the bosstimer to check if the fight has ended. If the bosstimer is in an area of the screen where it's easily obscured by say a tooltip or another part of the rs interface such as an NPC dialog box, then SusAlert may reset the fight accidentally, as it thinks the bosstimer is gone (which normally means the fight is over).

I have just released an update that should help reduce this issue, but unfortunately it's not possible to fully prevent it. There's a few things you can do to fix it however:

The most important thing would be to move the bosstimer to a part of the screen that's unlikely to be obscured. This should already be enough to avoid this issue.

You can also change how many times SusAlert needs to check that the bosstimer is gone before resetting. In the settings you can change the 'End Check Time' from 6 ticks (3.6 seconds) all the way up to 20 ticks (~24 seconds). A tick happens every 0.6 seconds, so setting 10 ticks would mean the boss timer needs to be gone for at least 6 seconds before SusAlert resets.

Thanks!

Re: SusAlert - Croesus Attack Call-outs

Thank you for such a quick reply! That was exactly what was wrong! My interaction text at the top of the screen was over my boss timer moved it & now it's working perfectly! Thanks CookieMonster

Re: SusAlert - Croesus Attack Call-outs

Hi! Sorry to necropost (although maybe a fitting time, haha), but I was wondering if there's a way to add custom sounds to the susalert ones? Totally small dumb thing, I wanted to do a custom sound for each of the mechs.

Heya, this is unfortunately not possible right now, it would require quite a bit of rewriting to support changing sounds per mechanic. I might look into this if I have time, but I can't make any promises :3
